The Outer Banks gets hurricanes and nor'easters. Being 400 miles away when one lands is the worst part of owning here — this is the part we take off you.
A preparation visit while the track firms up. We close the storm shutters where fitted — or let your shutter crew in and lock up after them — and bring in or stow the deck furniture, grills, trash cans and anything else the wind could take. Photos sent before we leave, so you know it's buttoned up.
$95–150 flat, per named storm. Plan members go to the front of the line.
We live here — we check your place as soon as it's safe once the storm passes. You get a photographed, dated condition report: roof, siding, decks, water intrusion and the yard, exactly as we found it. And we put the house back: furniture out, shutters open, everything where it goes.
Post-storm check & reset: $75–95.
The worst part of a storm from 400 miles away is the not-knowing. You get dated before-and-after photos of your house — usually the same day — so if something needs attention, it gets attention now, not after it's been sitting.
A short call, a walk-through of your home, and a written plan. No pressure, no contracts to sign on the spot.
